Twisted Pictures, the motherf… I mean, people behind the Saw series are set to remake Lloyd Kaufman’s Mother’s Day. As much a sequel as a remake the new picture finds Mom and her sons returning to their old home to torture and degrade a new generation.

Park Chan-Wook’s Thirst will get a limited theatrical release in July, and if it performs well will get wider release. I can’t wait for this one.
If thirst shows up in your town go see it. Tell your friends to go see it. In the meantime watch Old Boy again.

Bloody Disgusting reports a conversation with Chris Fisher where he talks about his Eyes of Laura Mars remake project.
Evidently the producers want a re-scripting based on the original movie while Fisher would prefer to use John Carpenter’s original script. We’ll have to see where this goes. If a new director is brought in it’s probably More >
